Computes x * log(y).

arkouda.scipy.special.xlogy(x: arkouda.pdarrayclass.pdarray | numpy.float64, y: arkouda.pdarrayclass.pdarray)[source]

Computes x * log(y).

Parameters:
  • x (pdarray or np.float64) – x must have a datatype that is castable to float64

  • y (pdarray)

Return type:

arkouda.pdarrayclass.pdarray
